Pawlicies & Procedures

To ensure a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable experience for all our furry guests, please review our salon policies.

Appointment & Cancellation

  • Appointments are required or specified walk-in availability.
  • 24-hour notice required for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Late cancellations or no-show may result in a fee (50% of service).
  • Repeat no-shows may require prepayment.

Late Arrival

  • Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule.
  • Late arrivals may result in a modified groom, appointment time change or additional fees.

Vaccination Requirements

  • Rabies vaccine required (legally non-negotiable in most states).
  • Kennel cough recommended for puppies prior to their first grooming.

Health & Safety

  • Pets must be in good health (no contagious illnesses, parasites, open wounds).
  • Senior & medically fragile pets are groomed at owner's risk.
  • In case of emergency, we have permission to seek veterinary care.

Matted Coat

  • Severely matted dogs will be shaved down for humane reasons.
  • Additional fees will apply for de-matting or shave downs.
  • Risk of irritation, nicks or pre-existing conditions are imminent.

Behavior & Aggression

  • Dogs must be safely handleable.
  • Aggressive or highly anxious dogs may be refused or require special handling fees.
  • Muzzles or safety equipment may be used when necessary.

Pricing Policy

  • Prices are based on breed, size, coat condition and behavior.
  • Final price may vary after hands-on assessment.
  • Extra charges for:
    • Matting
    • Flea & Tick
    • Difficult Behavior
    • Special handling

Flea & Tick

  • If fleas/ticks are found, treatment will be given immediately at owner's expense.
  • We may refuse service for severe infestations.

Photo & Social Media

  • Permission to photograph pets for marketing/social media purposes.

Pickup Policy

  • Owners must pickup pets promptly after grooming is complete.
  • Communication with the salon regarding later pickup time is required or late pickup fees may apply after an hour grace period.
